2. Gias Foods of New York, NY is recalling 2 Lots of Bettergoods
Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine, because it has the potential to be
contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause
serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly
people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals
may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache,
stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria monocytogenes
infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
The Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine was
distributed nationwide at Walmart Inc. stores.
The recalled Bettergoods brand Authentic Italian Lemon
Alfredo Fettuccine is frozen and packaged in a 22 oz, yellow plastic, with UPC#
194346442706, marked with lot # L6079C or # L6080C with an expiration date of
09/19/2027 or 09/20/2027 both stamped on the back of packaging.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recall was the result of a routine sampling program
conducted by Washington State Department of Agriculture and Florida Department
of Agriculture and Consumer Services, which revealed that the finished products
may contain the bacteria. The company has ceased the distribution of the
product as FDA and the company continue their investigation as to what caused
the problem.
Consumers who have purchased the above lots of Bettergoods
Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine are urged to return it to the place
of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company
at sales@giasfoods.com, and a response

3. Global Mix Inc. of Middle Village, New York, is
recalling niwali Tejocote Capsules (90 capsules, Herbal Supplement) and niwali
Tejocote Pieces (90 Day Supply, Herbal Supplement) because FDA analysis has
determined that the products appear to be Thevetia peruviana, or yellow
oleander. All parts of the yellow oleander plant are known to contain cardiac
glycosides, which are highly toxic to humans and animals. Ingestion of yellow
oleander can cause severe or even fatal neurologic, gastrointestinal, and cardiovascular
adverse health effects. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness,
diarrhea, abdominal pain, changes in heart rhythm, arrhythmia, and more.
The products were distributed nationwide within the United
States through ebay.com and Everymarket.com. A total of five units of the
recalled products were sold, consisting of two (2) units of capsules and three
(3) units of pieces. Because the sales were made through an online marketplace
that does not release purchaser contact details to the seller, the company is
unable to identify or notify every purchaser individually. The company is
therefore issuing this press release so that any consumer who purchased the
products can identify them and act on this notice.

labeled as tejocote were in fact toxic yellow oleander. The company acted
promptly on that information, ceased distribution of the affected products,
removed the listings from sale, and is conducting this voluntary recall while
it investigates the problem.

4. Star Meat Delivery Inc.,
located in Lucama, N.C., is recalling approximately 167,639 pounds of raw pork,
beef, and goat products that were produced without the benefit of federal
inspection, bearing labels with a false USDA mark of inspection, the U.S. Department
of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. As more
information becomes available, FSIS may update the product list and labels with
additional items.
Any product bearing the false establishment number “EST.
1363” should be considered misbranded and unsafe to eat.
The raw pork, beef, and goat items were produced on various
dates prior to September 22, 2026. The products were vacuum-sealed and packed
into cardboard boxes for shipment; individual consumer packages may not bear
this labeling, as retail stores may have applied their own stickers with
pricing and safe handling instructions. The following products, distributed in
bulk under the A&D Foods label, are subject to recall:
The products subject to recall bear false marks of
inspection with establishment number “EST. 1363,” which does not have a federal
grant of inspection. These items were shipped to A&D Foods, a distributor
in Georgia, for further distribution to retail and restaurant locations
nationwide.
The problem was discovered during FSIS surveillance
activities.
There have been no confirmed reports of illness or injury
due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an illness or
injury should contact a healthcare provider.
Food produced without inspection may contain undeclared
allergens, harmful bacteria, or other contaminants that put consumer health and
safety at risk. FSIS is concerned that some product may be in the refrigerators
or freezers of consumers, restaurants, or retailers. Consumers who have
purchased these products are urged not to consume them. Retailers and
restaurants are urged not to sell or serve these products. These products
should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to
verify recalling firms notify their customers of the recall and
that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to
consumers. When available, the retail distribution list(s) will be posted on
the FSIS website at www.fsis.usda.gov/recalls.

5. Wakefern Food Corp. has voluntarily recalled select
containers of Wholesome Pantry Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce after routine
FDA testing identified elevated patulin levels that exceed food safety limits
and do not meet Wakefern's quality standards.
Patulin is a naturally occurring substance produced by molds
that grow on damaged or bruised apples and may be present in products made from
affected fruit. Because patulin levels in this product exceed acceptable
limits, the product should not be consumed.
The recall affects Wholesome Pantry Organic Unsweetened
Apple Sauce sold in 23-ounce plastic jar containers with the UPC Code
04119005677. All recalled packages have a best-by date of June 16, 2027.
The products were distributed through Wakefern supermarket
banners ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer, Gourmet Garage and
Fairway Market. No other products sold at those supermarkets are affected by
this recall, and no illnesses or injuries associated with the product have been
reported.
The issue was identified through routine monitoring by the
FDA. Food safety standards limit the amount of patulin permitted in food
products due to potential health concerns associated with elevated exposure
over time.
"Customers who purchased the recalled product can
return it to the store for an immediate refund or replacement," said
Maureen Gillespie, spokesperson for Wakefern Food Corp.
Customers who purchased the apple sauce should check the
label and best-by date on any product they may still have at home. Customers
with questions or concerns may contact 1-800-ShopRite (1-800-746-7748) Monday
through Friday, from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9-5.
NJDOH is not requesting any immediate action for this

6. Galil Importing Corp of Hauppauge, New York is
recalling Lior Cinnamon Ground Seasoning because it has the potential to be
contaminated with elevated levels of lead. Short term exposures to very low
levels of lead may not elicit any symptoms. It is possible that increased blood
lead levels may be the only apparent sign of lead exposure. Additional signs
and symptoms of lead exposure are more likely with acute exposure to higher
levels of lead or chronic exposure to lead. While lead can affect nearly every
bodily system, its effects depend upon the amount and duration of lead exposure
and age/ body weight. If a child is exposed to enough lead for a protracted
period of time (e.g., weeks to months) permanent damage to the central nervous
system may occur. This can result in learning disorders, developmental defects,
and other long-term health problems.
Lior Cinnamon Ground Seasoning (UPC 794711005484) was
distributed to retail stores, grocery stores, delis, and supermarkets located
in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida & Illinois between
11/18/2025 and 09/07/2026.
The product is packaged in 90 g transparent plastic
containers (case pk of 6units). The lot code GAP11304 can be found on the side
of the container under the ingredient line.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recall was the result of a sample collected and analyzed
by Maryland Department of Health (MDH) that revealed the product contained
elevated levels of lead.
Galil Importing Corp immediately initiated a voluntary
recall and is notifying customers to stop distribution and sale of the affected
product and place remaining inventory on hold.
The company has begun a supplier investigation, and
implemented enhanced testing and supplier verification measures to prevent a
recurrence.
Consumers should not consume the product and should either
discard it or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
Consumers with questions may contact the company Galil
Importing Corp on 1-516-496-7400 M-F 9a-5p (ET).
