Per the CDC:


There is a recall of Primark children’s bamboo plates. These products are being recalled because they contain high levels of lead and formaldehyde, posing a lead poisoning hazard to children. More information about this recall including specific items being recalled is available on the CPSC’s website. We encourage you to share this information with your colleagues and partners. We encourage you to share this information with your colleagues and partners.

 

In addition, we encourage health care providers to

 

o   Raise awareness among parents about these products.

o   Encourage parents to immediately take the recalled products away from children, stop using them and return them to a Primark store for a full refund. Additionally, consumers can contact Primark US collect at 617-946-3236 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or online at https://www.help.primark.com/hc/en-us/categories/360000064589-RECALL or at www.primark.com and click on “Customer Service” at the bottom of the page, then click on the “Recall” tab in the middle of the page for more information.

o   Consider testing children for lead exposure from these and other sources.
