The Communicable Disease Service of the New Jersey Department of Health is pleased to announce New Jersey's fourth annual Antimicrobial Stewardship Recognition Program (ASRP) Virtual Award Event! The 2022 ASRP invited healthcare facilities across the state to submit materials that document the breadth and depth of their antimicrobial stewardship efforts over the past year to commend and reward their accomplishments, develop/enhance collaborative relationships, and identify best practices based upon the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Seven Core Elements for Antimicrobial Stewardship.

Please join the Communicable Disease Service and the New Jersey Hospital Association in celebrating your success, and that of your peers, at the 2022 NJ Antimicrobial Stewardship Recognition Program virtual award ceremony on December 7, 2022, from 10:00am to 12:00pm EST. We will hear from our keynote speaker, Dr. Keith S. Kaye, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine. In addition, there will be speakers from various facility settings, who will speak about their respective experiences in antimicrobial stewardship, including the implementation of new programs, the improvement of existing programs, and the challenges and successes associated with their endeavors.
